Jo Ramsay is an Australian millinery designer known for an aesthetic that seamlessly blends time-honoured silhouettes with current trends. Motifs from bygone eras are woven throughout her work, together with modern materials and methods.

She began her millinery career working under the tutelage of a master milliner, and honed her millinery skills in a traditional workroom. Jo has tertiary qualifications in Fashion, Communications, Media, Visual Arts and Education. 

She divides her time between three distinct labels –

Jo Ramsay for contemporary classic millinery;

Tirra Lirra for fabric blooms hand-crafted in the French couture tradition and;

Noosa Sundays for straw and cloth sun protection and lifestyle wares.

Teaching remains a focus for Jo, and the  Millinery Workroom will launch in late 2025 for Jo to share insights into mastering the skills of handcrafted millinery.
